WWI`s Sopwith Camel Fighter Aircraft Paper Model In SD Styleby Shigeru Takigami

Created by Japanese designer and modeler Shigeru Takigami, this is the paper model version in SD syle (super deformed style) of the WWI`s Sopwith Camel. - The Sopwith Camel was a British First World War single-seat biplane fighter introduced on the Western Front in 1917. Manufactured by Sopwith Aviation Company, it had a short-coupled fuselage, heavy, powerful rotary engine, and concentrated fire from twin synchronized machine guns. Though difficult to handle, to an experienced pilot it provided unmatched manoeuvrability. A superlative fighter, the Camel was credited with shooting down 1,294 enemy aircraft, more than any other Allied fighter of the war. Near the end of the conflict, it also served as a ground-attack aircraft. - Wikipedia

Criado pelo designer e modelista japonês Shigeru Takigami, esta é a versão em papel em estilo SD (estilo super deformado) do avião Sopwith Camel, da Primeira Grande Guerra. - O Sopwith Camel foi o avião britânico de combate mais bem sucedido da Primeira Guerra Mundial. Com asa dupla e apenas um lugar, era famoso por sua manobrabilidade. Projetado para substituir o Sopwith Pup, o protótipo do Camel (literalmente camelo) vôou pela primeira vez em dezembro de 1916, impulsionado por um motor Clerget 92, com 110 cavalos. Era armado com duas Metralhadoras Vickers .303 pol (7,7 mm) montadas acima do painel de instrumentos e que atiravam em sincronia com a hélice. Foram fabricadas mais de 5500 unidades, que alcançaram um total de 1294 vitórias em combate. Seus pilotos mais famosos foram os Capitães D. R. MacLaren e Roy Brown. WWI`s Junkers D.I Fighter Aircraft Paper Model In 1/64 Scaleby Paper Diorama

Offered by Paper Diorama, Italian website, here is a perfect paper model version in 1/64 scale and two different color of the Junkers D.I (factory designation J 9),a monoplane fighter aircraft produced in Germany late in World War I, significant for becoming the first all-metal fighter to enter service. The prototype, a private venture by Junkers named the J 7, first flew on 17 September 1917, going through nearly a half-dozen detail changes in its design during its tests.

Offered by Paper Diorama, Italian website, this is the miniature paper model version in 1/64 scale of the Ansaldo SVA was a family of Italian reconnaissance biplane aircraft of World War I and the decade after. Originally conceived as a fighter, the SVA was found inadequate for that role. Nevertheless, its impressive speed, range and operational ceiling, with its top speed making it one of the fastest of all Allied combat aircraft in World War I, gave it the right properties to be an excellent reconnaissance aircraft and even light bomber. WWI`s Albatross D.V German Aircraft Paper Model In SD Style by Paper Factory

The Japanese designer Taki, from Paper Factory website, created this beautiful paper model in SD style (super deformed style) of the German fighter Albatros D.V. The Albatros D.V was a fighter aircraft built by the Albatros Flugzeugwerke and used by the Luftstreitkräfte (Imperial German Air Service) during World War I. The D.V was the final development of the Albatros D.I family and the last Albatros fighter to see operational service. Despite its well-known shortcomings and general obsolescence, approximately 900 D.V and 1,612 D.Va aircraft were built before production halted in early 1918. The D.Va continued in operational service until the end of the war.

O designer japonês Taki, do site Paper Factory, criou este belo modelo de papel em estilo SD (estilo super deformado) do caça alemão Albatros D.V. O Albatros D.V foi um avião de caça e de reconhecimento armado monoposto alemão utilizado pela Luftstreitkräfte, durante a Primeira Guerra Mundial. O D.V foi o desenvolvimento final da família Albatros D.I, e o último caça Albatros em serviço operacional. Apesar de suas conhecidas deficiências e obsolescência geral, cerca de 900 aeronaves D.V e 1 612 D.Va foram construídas antes que a produção ser interrompida no início de 1918. O D.Va continuou em serviço operacional até o final da guerra.

A Lot Of Aircrafts Paper Models In SD Style - by Paper Factory

Japanese designer Taki, from Paper Factory website, said: - "These are not accurate models. They are called SD (super deformed) models. Although it's basically a paper job, you can use toothpicks and bamboo chopsticks in addition to paper. For anyone who has never set up a paper model, it may be a bit difficult the first time, but if you put some machines together you end up getting the hang of it. The development is basically handmade. Do not worry about failures and mistakes. Do this as fun and not as an obligation."

O designer japonês Taki, do site da Paper Factory, disse: - "Estes não são modelos precisos. São chamados de modelos SD (super deformados). Ainda que seja basicamente um trabalho em papel, você pode usar palitos de dente e pauzinhos de bambu, além do papel. Para quem nunca montou um modelo de papel, pode ser um pouco difícil na primeira vez, mas se você montar algumas máquinas você acaba pegando o jeito. O desenvolvimento é basicamente artesanal. Não se preocupe com falhas e erros. Faça isso como diversão e não como obrigação.

Here is a very well done paper model in 1/64 scale of a WWI era aircraft. The Phönix D.I, with the D.II and D.III variants, was an Austro-Hungarian First World War biplane fighter built by the Phönix Flugzeug-Werke and based on the Hansa-Brandenburg D.I.

Eis aqui um modelo de papel muito bem feito na escala 1/64 de uma aeronave da era da Primeira Guerra Mundial. O Phönix D.I, com as variantes D.II e D.III, foi um caça biplano austro-húngaro da Primeira Guerra Mundial construído pela Phönix Flugzeug-Werke e baseado no Hansa-Brandenburg D.I.
