The Little Match Girl - A Vintage Theater Paper Model - by Alfred Jacobsen - via Sala Lúdica

Printed in the first half of the twentieth century by Dutch publisher Alfred Jacobsen, this beautiful theater paper model tells the story of The Little Match Girl, a classic by the Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen. This rare paper model was preserved and now shared by Francesc D'Assis Lopez Sala, from Sala Lúdica, Spanish website.

Impresso na primeira metade do século XX pela editora holandesa de Alfred Jacobsen, este belíssimo teatro de papel conta a história da Pequena Vendedora fe Fósforos, um clássico do contista dinamarquês Hans Christian Andersen. Este raro modelo de papel foi preservado e agora compartilhado por Francesc D'Assis Lopez Sala, do site espanhol Sala Lúdica.

1880-1920 Paper Theater - A Vintage Paper Model - by Pellerin

I do not know the precise date on which this beautiful Paper Theatre was originally printed, but I know that it comes from France and was printed by Pellerin company. Preserved and shared by Geheugenvan Nederland (Memory of Netherlands) website, now you can build your own to decorate your shelf. The model you see in the picture above was assembled by modeler Tarot Girl. In addition to the original, I put a link to a high resolution version and you can download it easily directly from my Google Drive.

Eu não sei a data precisa em que este belo Teatro de Papel foi originalmente impresso, mas sei que ele vem da França e foi publicado pela companhia Pellerin. Preservado e compartilhado pelo site Geheugenvan Nederland (Memória da Holanda), agora você pode montar um para decorar sua estante. "Wayang is a generic term denoting traditional theatre in Indonesia. There is no evidence that wayang existed before the first century CE, after Hinduism and Buddhism were brought to Southeast Asia. This leads to the hypothesis that the art was imported from either India or China, both of which have a long tradition of shadow puppetry and theatre in general. However, there very well may have been indigenous storytelling traditions that had a profound impact on the development of the traditional puppet theater." - Salazad

Julie, the author and designer of Hedgehog Studio, says: - "I enjoy collecting and creating paper toys. One of my favorites is the toy theaters that were popular during the late 19th and early 20th century. In America many toy theaters were published in women’s magazines. Most collectors are familiar with the toy theaters that were printed in “The Pictorial Review” and “The Delineator”, but there was also a series of toy theaters from “The Designer” called “The Fairy Playhouse”, illustrated by Frances W. Delehanty."

Um dos meus favoritos são os teatros de brinquedo que eram muito populares durante o século 19 e início do século 20. Nos Estados Unidos muitos teatros de papel foram publicados em revistas femininas. A maioria dos colecionadores estão familiarizados com os teatros de brinquedo que foram impressas em revistas como “The Pictorial Review” e “The Delineator”, mas também houve uma série de teatros de papel da revista "The Designer" chamada de "The Fairy Playhouse", ilustrada por Frances W. Delehanty.

The Country Bear Jamboree is an attraction at the Magic Kingdom in the Walt Disney World Resort and at Tokyo Disneyland in the Tokyo Disney Resort, as well as a former attraction at Disneyland Park. All versions of the attraction are similar. The attraction is a stage show with audio-animatronic figures. Most of the characters are bears who perform Country music. Characters rise up to the stage on platforms, descend from the ceiling, and appear from behind curtains. The audience includes audio-animatronic animal heads mounted on the walls who interact with characters on stage. Due to overwhelming popularity, The Country Bear Jamboree was given a "spin-off" show which appeared during the 1984 winter season at Disney World and Disneyland. It was called The Country Bear Christmas Special. In 2002, a movie titled The Country Bears was released which was based on the attraction and its characters. - Wikipedia
