2023`s Chinese Year Of The Rabbit Paper Toys - by Salazad

These two cute bunnies that symbolize the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese zodiac were created by Indonesian designer Salazad. 

Salazad said: - "2023 is a year of the Rabbit, starting from January 22nd, 2023, and ending on February 9th, 2024. A water rabbit year which occurs every 60 years.

A time to honor ancestors and deities, marked by family reunions, parades and fireworks. The Year of Rabbit is predicted to be a year of hope. 

The rabbit is the fourth animal in the Chinese zodiac and symbolizes grace, beauty, mercy and good luck. Rabbits are also associated with the moon, because of the mythical Jade Rabbit who lives there."

Estes dois simpáticos coelhinhos que simbolizam o Ano do Coelho no Horóscopo Chinês foram criados pelo designer indonésio Salazad. 

Salazad disse: - "2023 é o ano do Coelho, começando em 22 de janeiro de 2023 e terminando em 9 de fevereiro de 2024. Um ano de coelho de água que ocorre a cada 60 anos. 

Um momento para homenagear ancestrais e divindades, marcado por reuniões familiares, desfiles e fogos de artifício. O Ano do Coelho está previsto para ser um ano de esperança. 

O coelho é o quarto animal do zodíaco chinês e simboliza graça, beleza, misericórdia e boa sorte. Os coelhos também estão associados à lua, por causa do mítico Coelho de Jade que lá vive."

BT21 - VAN - The BTS`s Army Mascot Paper Toy - by Paperized Crafts

Created by my friend, the Filipino designer and modeler Paulo, from Paperized Crafts, this is the paper toy version of Van, from BT21. BT21 is made up of six characters (Tata, Mang, Chimmy, RJ, Koya, Cooky, Shooky, and Van) that represent the personality of each member of the Korean K-pop band, BTS, or Bangtan Boys. 

VAN, the gray and white character created by the designers at LINE Friends, is a space robot that protects others and represents the ARMYs (BTS fans). 

VAN was inspired by interviews with BTS about the type of characters they wanted to create with LINE.

Criado por meu amigo, o designer e modelista filipino Paulo, do site Paperized Crafts, esta é a versão paper toy de Van, do BT21. O BT21 é composto de seis personagens (Tata, Mang, Chimmy, RJ, Koya, Cooky, Shooky e Van), que representam a personalidade de cada integrante da banda coreana de K-pop, BTS, ou Bangtan Boys.

VAN, o personagem cinza e branco criado pelos designers da LINE Friends, é um robô espacial que protege os demais e representa os ARMYs (os fãs do BTS).

VAN foi inspirado por entrevistas com o BTS sobre o tipo de personagens que eles queriam criar com a LINE.

2022 is the year of the Tiger. It is the year of the water tiger. A water tiger occurs every 60 years. Year of the tiger 2022 begins on the Chinese New Year. The recent tiger years are: 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022… 

If you were born in one of the years, then your Chinese Zodiac sign is a tiger. The Chinese zodiac tiger years come every 12 years as a cycle. In Chinese element theory, each zodiac sign is associated with one of the five elements: Gold (Metal), Wood, Water, Fire, or Earth. 

2022 is the Year of the water tiger. Water tiger years come every 60 years. Chinese zodiac years are based on the Chinese lunar calendar which is around one/two months behind the Gregorian calendar.

Five Nights At Freddy's - Glamrock Freddy Paper Toy In Kooky Style by Landis Productions

This very easy-to-assemble paper toy of Glamrock Freddy, from Five Nights at Freddy's videogame, was created by American graphic artist David Landis, from Landis Productions website. 

Regarding this paper toy, Mr. Landis said: - "Do you want to see something scary? It’s time to make your very own Glamrock Freddy as an easy-to-make paper toy! (If you dare!)"

Este paper toy bem fácil de montar do Glamrock Freddy, do videogame Five Nights at Freddy's, foi criado pelo artista gráfico americano David Landis, do site Landis Productions. 

A respeito deste paper toy, o Sr. Landis disse: - "Você quer ver algo assustador? É hora de fazer seu próprio Glamrock Freddy na forma de um paper toy bem fácil de montar! (Se você ousar!)"

Medabots - Metabee Robot Mascot Paper Model - by StormL

Created by Argentinian designer Miguel Angel Tadakuma, aka StormL, this is Metabee, a KBT-series Medabot and the mascot of the series. Its design is based on a rhinoceros beetle. 

Medabots, known in Japan as Medarot, is a role-playing video game franchise developed by Natsume and published by Imagineer in Japan in 1997. The video game franchise was later adapted into a Japanese anime television series produced by Bee Train. Spanning 52 episodes, the series originally aired on TV Tokyo from July 2, 1999 until June 30, 2000.

You will find the model in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the model with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D. 

If you don`t have Pepakura Viewer Free Version yet, the link to download is at the end of this post. When the file opens, you will be asked for a password. 

Just ignore it and click on the option "open with Pekaura Viewer" that appears right below the password space.

Criado pelo designer argentino Miguel Angel Tadakuma, aka Storm, este é o Metabee, um Medabot da série KBT e mascote da série de mesmo nome. Seu design é baseado em um besouro-rinoceronte. Medabots, conhecido no Japão como Medarot, é um anime que narra as aventuras de Ikki Tenryou e seu robô medabot Metabee. Era originalmente um Video game para Game Boy lançado em 1997. 

Vários jogos da franquia foram lançados para diversas plataformas, incluindo Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, GameCube e Nintendo DS. 

Você encontrará o modelo em dois formatos: PDF e PDO (Pepakura), então você pode usar o PDF para imprimir as peças e o PDO como guia de montagem, já que com ele você pode visualizar o modelo em 3D.
