Hand Drawn House Papercraft - by Papermau - Some More Advances

Today I leave here some more advances in this paper model of a hand-drawn house. The roof and some details on the chimneys still needed to be finished.

Hoje deixo aqui mais alguns avanços nesse modelo de papel de uma casa desenhada à mão. Faltava finalizar o telhado e alguns detalhes nas chaminés.

I assembled the 3D model in Sketchup to see if there were any errors and, it seems, everything fits perfectly. The next step is to check the tabs and arrange the pieces. More advances soon.

Montei o modelo em 3D no Sketchup para ver se havia algum erro e, ao que parece tudo se encaixa com perfeição. O próximo passo é conferir as abas e arranjar as peças. Mais avanços em breve.

Hand Drawn House Papercraft - A Work In Progress - by Papermau

Last night I decided to go back to basics and play with pencil, pen and ruler. 

I made the basic shapes of this little house in MsPaint, printed everything on two sheets and the scale, when printed, was around 1/64. 

So I started sketching all the common elements, in this case with a colonial style. 

Today I leave here the first images. More soon.

Noite passada eu resolvi voltar ao básico e brincar com lápis, caneta e régua. 

Eu fiz as formas básicas dessa casinha no MsPaint, imprimi tudo em duas folhas e a escala, quando impressa, ficou por volta de 1/64. 

Comecei então a esboçar todos os elementos comuns, nesse caso com um estilo colonial. 

Hoje deixo aqui os primeiras imagens. Mais em breve.

The Ancient Hungarian Monastery Paper Model - by Somodi Zoltan

This beautiful and fully hand-drawn paper model of an Ancient Monastery was created by Hungarian designer and modeler Somodi Zoltán, from Papirmakett Somodi website.

Somodi says the templates are purposely made in black and white so modelers can use their imagination and create something unique.

Notice that Somodi has set up two monasteries and colored one with yellow walls and the other with green walls.

The entire model takes up five sheets of paper and there are no illustrated instructions, but the parts are numbered and assembly is not difficult. Consider it a 3D puzzle.

Este belo modelo de papel totalmente desenhado à mão de um Monastério Antigo foi criado pelo designer e modelista húngaro Somodi Zoltán, do site Papirmakett Somodi.

Somodi diz que os templates são propositalmente feitos em preto e branco para que os modelistas possam usar a imaginação e criar algo único.

Repare que Somodi montou dois monastérios e coloriu um com paredes amarelas e outro com paredes verdes.

O modelo todo ocupa cinco folhas de papel e não há instruções ilustradas, mas as peças são numeradas e a montagem não é difícil. Considere como um quebra-cabeças em 3D.
