Antique Truck Paper Model - by Broderbund - via Mike And Lace

This beautiful paper model of a Vintage Truck is from an old computer program called The Toy Shop. - "The Toy Shop was a wonderful computer program from the ’80s which allowed you to decorate and print twenty different paper models which actually move! It included all the dowels, wires, balloons, and so on which were required to create the models. I’ve enjoyed using this program on my Commodore 64 for many years, and now I am able to share these models with the paper modeling community so you can download and build your very own Toy Shop creations with any PC or Mac!" - Mike and Lace - There are many other models on the website, like the functional Catapult that you can see in the last image of this post.

1980`s Commodore VIC-20 Miniature Paper Model - by Rocky Bergen

Rocky Bergen is a Canadian industrial designer and here he shares a miniature paper model version of the Commodore VIC-20, an 8-bit home computer that was sold by Commodore Business Machines. The VIC-20 was announced in 1980, roughly three years after Commodore's first personal computer, the PET. The VIC-20 was the first computer of any description to sell one million units. It was described as "one of the first anti-spectatorial, non-esoteric computers by design...no longer relegated to hobbyist/enthusiasts or those with money, the computer Commodore developed was the computer of the future." In early July 2020, following the trend of mini-consoles started by Nintendo back in 2018, Retro Games (the company that already released the similar "The C64" and "The C64 Mini") announced a reimagined model of the Commodore Vic 20, called "The VIC-20". The release date is the 23rd October 2020 in Europe. Is not yet certain if it will be available in the US market. - know more at: Commodore.VIC.20.at.Wikipedia

1983`s Apple Lisa I Personal Computer Miniature Paper Model
by Rocky Bergen

Rocky Bergen is a Canadian industrial designer and the creator of this perfect miniature paper model version of the 1983`s Apple Lisa I. Lisa is a desktop computer developed by Apple, released on January 19, 1983. It is one of the first personal computers to present a graphical user interface (GUI) in a machine aimed at individual business users. Development of the Lisa began in 1978, and it underwent many changes during the development period before shipping at US$9,995 with a five-megabyte hard drive. The Lisa was challenged by a relatively high price, insufficient software library, unreliable Apple FileWare ("Twiggy") floppy disks, and the immediate release of the cheaper and faster Macintosh — yielding lifelong sales of only 10,000 units in two years. - know more at Apple.Lisa.I.at.Wikipedia

Lisa.I.na.Wikipedia
