Easy-To-Build Chinese Dragon Papercraft For Kids - by Tina Kraus

This beautiful traditional Chinese dragon in five different colors was created by German designer Tina Kraus from the website Faltmanufaktur to celebrate the Year of the Dragon 2012 and published here on the blog in the same year, but as we are entering 2024 which will be the Year of the Wooden Dragon, I am republishing the model, with a revised link and updated photos. 

In Chinese astrology, the Year of the Dragon is considered a powerful and auspicious year. People born in this year are seen as charismatic, courageous, and possess a unique energy. 

It's a year associated with luck, prosperity, and success, but it can also bring intense challenges due to the impulsive and energetic nature of the Dragon. 

The Dragon is an auspicious symbol in Chinese culture, associated with luck, power, and nobility. Individuals born under this sign are often regarded as fearless and confident.

Golden Dragon Paper Model - by Katsuyuki Shiga Pino Art

Occupying four printed sheets, this paper model of a Golden Dragon is another creation by Japanese designer and modelist Katsuyuki Shiga from the Pino Art website. It was made to celebrate 2024, known as the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese zodiac. 

The Chinese zodiac is an astrological system based on twelve animals, each associated with a year in a 12-year cycle. 

The animals are: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. Additionally, each year is influenced by one of the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water, alternating every two years. 

The year of the dragon is considered one of the most auspicious years in the Chinese zodiac. The dragon symbolizes power, luck, and success and is associated with traits like strength, vitality, and leadership.

A Chinese Pavilion Miniature Paper Model - Version 01 - by Kacanonon

Created by the talented designer and modeler Kacanonon, this beautiful and detailed paper model of a Chinese Pavilion takes up four printed sheets. 

In April I posted here a version of this Chinese pavilion without knowing that it was the second version. The first is the one I am pleased to present today. 

You will find the model in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the model with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D. 

Using Pepakura, when the file opens, you will be asked for a password. Just ignore it and click on the option "open with Pekaura Viewer" that appears right below the password space.

Genshin Impact - Sangonomiya Kokomi Paper Toy - by Paperized

Created by my friend, the Philippine designer and modeler Paulo, from Paperized website, this is the paper toy version of Sangonomiya Kokomi, a playable character in Genshin Impact.  

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action RPG developed and published by the Chinese developer miHoYo. The game features a fantasy open-world environment and action based combat system using elemental magic, character switching, and gacha monetization system for players to obtain new characters, weapons, and other resources. 

The game can only be played with an internet connection and features a limited multiplayer mode allowing up to four players in a world. The game was released "worldwide" on September 28, 2020 for PC, iOS/Android, and PlayStation 4. 

The game was also released on November 11, 2020 on the PlayStation 5, featuring cross-save support with the PlayStation 4. The game is also planned to release on the Nintendo Switch as well.

Criado por meu amigo, o designer e modelista filipino Paulo, do site Paperized, esta é a versão paper toy de Sangonomiya Kokomi, uma personagem jogável em Genshin Impact.  

Genshin Impact é um RPG de ação gratuito desenvolvido e publicado pelo desenvolvedor chinês miHoYo. O jogo apresenta um ambiente de mundo aberto de fantasia e sistema de combate baseado em ação usando magia elemental, troca de personagem e sistema de monetização para os jogadores obterem novos personagens, armas e outros recursos. 

O jogo só pode ser jogado com uma conexão à Internet e possui um modo multiplayer limitado que permite até quatro jogadores em um mundo. O jogo foi lançado "mundialmente" em 28 de setembro de 2020 para PC, iOS / Android e PlayStation 4. 

Também foi lançado em 11 de novembro de 2020 no PlayStation 5, apresentando suporte para salvamento cruzado com o PlayStation 4. O jogo também está planejado para lançamento no Nintendo Switch.

Manseigai - Neil, Aira, Lin, Abu, Dharmao, Lily And Nick Paper Toys by Takahiro Nakami

At the request of Aniplex Company, Japanese designer and modeler Takahiro Nakami, from Paperman Returns website, created paper toys of seven characters from the anime "Manseigai": Neil, Aira, Lin, Abu, Dharmao, Lily, and Nick. 

He informs that you can download them for free on Manseigai's official website. 

Manseigai, or Wan Sheng Jie (All Saints Street), is a Chinese anime series released in 2019. The story follows the journey of a young man named Mo Han, who is sent to the world of spirits after his death. 

There, he meets new friends and enemies, and learns to control his powers as he tries to uncover the truth about his death and save the spirit world from a great threat. 

The series is known for its impressive animation and soundtrack, as well as its captivating story and charismatic characters.

A pedido da Aniplex Company, o designer e modelista japonês Takahiro Nakami, do site Paperman Returns, criou os paper toys de sete personagens do anime "Manseigai": Neil, Aira, Lin, Abu, Dharmao, Lily e Nick. 

Ele informa que você pode baixá-los gratuitamente no site ofivcial de Manseigai. 

Manseigai, ou Wan Sheng Jie (All Saints Street) é uma série de anime chinesa lançada em 2019. A história segue a jornada de um jovem chamado Mo Han, que é enviado para o mundo dos espíritos após sua morte. 

Lá, ele encontra novos amigos e inimigos, e aprende a controlar seus poderes enquanto tenta descobrir a verdade sobre sua morte e salvar o mundo dos espíritos de uma grande ameaça.
