The Ephemeral Museum - Japanese Train Station Paper Modelby Brother - Assembled by Papermau

This beautiful Old Train Station is offered by Brother website, from Japan. The original model was on the scale of 1/150, fitting in only one sheet of paper, which I considered very small, so I decided to double the size of the pieces, thus making the model occupy two sheets of paper. 

The small station that I set up, was then somewhere between 1/50 and 1/60. 

The result you can see on the photos that illustrate this publication, and of course you will find the link to download the original template at the end of this post.

Esta bela Estação de Trens Antiga é oferecida pelo site das impressoras Brother do Japão. O modelo original estava na escala de 1/150, cabendo em apenas uma folha de papel, o que eu considerei muito pequeno, então resolvi dobrar o tamanho das peças, e o modelo acabou ocupando duas folhas de papel. 

A pequena estação que eu montei, ficou então entre algo em torno de 1/50 e 1/60.

About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents. I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like. With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation. Today I am opening a new session here on the blog, the Ephemeral Museum , which is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years. I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

All who submit their work will be published, without exceptions.

Eu "estou no papelmodelismo" desde 2005, embora eu já tivesse contato com modelos de papel desde minha infância, nos anos 1970, via revistas que eram vendidas esporadicamente em bancas de jornal. Lembro que haviam revistas com casas para montar e dioramas/playsets de aeroportos, fortes-apache, presépios e coisas do tipo. Com o advento da internet o que houve foi simplesmente um renascimento do hobby do papelmodelismo para mim e muitas outras pessoas de minha geração. Hoje eu estou inaugurando uma nova sessão aqui no blog, o Ephemeral Museum, que é um lugar aonde irei mostrar alguns dos modelos que eu construí em todos estes anos. Também gostaria que esse fosse um espaço aonde todos os amigos modelistas pudessem mostrar seus trabalhos, sendo assim, se alguém quiser participar deste "museu", basta mandar fotos de seu trabalho e algumas palavras para o e-mail abaixo:

New Traditional Japanese Architectural Paper Models In 1/150 And 1/87 Scales - by Brother Japan

On December 13, 2017 I posted some Japanese architectural paper models offered by Printer manufacturer Brother, that is making a great promotional campaign by encouraging its affiliates around the world to create and distribute free paper models. 

The models shown then were all on the 1/150 scale (N scale) and there were only architectural models. Now in addition to new models and some trains and wagons, there is also the option of the 1/87 scale (HO scale).

Em 13 de dezembro de 2017 eu publiquei alguns modelos de papel arquitetônicos japoneses oferecido pela fabricante de impressoras Brother, que está fazendo uma grande campanha promocional incentivando seus afiliados em todo o mundo a criar e distribuir modelos de papel gratuitos. 

Os modelos mostrados então estavam todos na escala 1/150 (escala N) e haviam apenas modelos arquitetônicos. Agora, além de novos modelos e alguns trens e vagões, há também a opção da escala 1/87 (escala HO).  

Eu montei a Estação de Trens em uma escala maior e se você quiser ver como ficou, clique aqui.

My friend from Germany, the designer and engineer Boris Voigt, from Projekt Bastelbogen educative website, continues creating more architectural paper models for his Wiekhaus, that is a special form of defense buildings, mainly found in the north-east of Germany and Wiechhaus in the Lower Rhine. Wiekhäuser served in the Middle Ages to observation and defense.Today we have a City Gate and a Tower. You will find these models in 1/72 scale, 1/87 scale (HO scale), 1/60 scale (ZO scale) and 1/120 scale (TT scale).- There are many other models, as you can see on the images of this post.

Meu amigo da Alemanha, o designer e engenheiro Boris Voigt, do site educativo Projekt Bastelbogen, continua criando mais modelos de papel arquitetônicos para sua Wiekhaus, que é uma forma especial de construção de defesa, encontrada principalmente no nordeste da Alemanha e Wiechhaus no Baixo Reno. As Wiekhäuser serviam na Idade Média como postos de observação e defesa. Hoje temos o Portal da Cidade e uma Torre. Você vai encontrar estes modelos nas escalas 1/72, 1/87 (escala HO), escala 1/60 (escala ZO) e escala 1/120 (escala TT). - Há muitos outros modelos, como você poder ver nas imagens desta postagem.

There are already models from Europe, the USA and now, also from Japan, which are these beautiful models of traditional Japanese architecture in 1/150 scale.

Os modelos da série Whitewash City estão na escala de 30 mm (1/60), com plantas baixas também de 30 mm (1/60) para cada andar, para que você não precise gastar tempo desenhando! Basta imprimir e jogar/brincar!
