This paper model whose templates I thought had been lost forever was published here on the blog on June 29, 2011, in the second week of the first month of the blog.
It was one of the first original papercrafts that I published here and it was all done in MsPaint. So I found both the templates and several photos in a folder on an old scratched CD.
I remember that I was very happy to have made everything fit together perfectly, even though to do so I had to have designed, redesigned and printed several pieces many, many times.
The tires in particular took a little more work. At the time I had a HP printer that consumed a lot of ink, so I only printed the basic lines in black and white, in super economical mode, and then I adjusted the dimensions of the pieces little by little.
The textures were easier and I used real photos for this. Their application is very simple, directly in MsPaint, using the technique of unchecking the "draw opaque" option, which allows you to paste layers of drawings and textures, one on top of the other in a very simple way, as in more advanced graphics programs. (which I still haven't learned how to use).
Well, today I just reviewed the templates and included part numbers that were not in the original templates, named some parts and provided some basic assembly explanations.
I also added templates for those who want to place transparent plastic on the windows for a better finish and conservation of the model.
Another thing I did was improve the images that were in low resolution, as they had been saved in the .JPG format which, to save space in HD (very important in 2011) ends up reducing the number of pixels in the images, causing an effect similar to dirt. , the famous low resolution.

Foi um dos primeiros papercrafts originais que eu publiquei aqui e foi todo feito no MsPaint. Por sorte eu encontrei tanto os templates como várias fotos em uma pasta em um velho CD arranhado.
Eu me recordo que fiquei bem contente de ter feito tudo se encaixar perfeitamente, mesmo que para isso tenha que ter desenhado, redesenhado e impresso várias peças muitas e muitas vezes.
Os pneus em especial deram um pouco mais de trabalho. Na época eu tinha uma impressora da HP que consumia muita tinta, então eu imprimia apenas as linhas básicas em preto e branco, no modo super econômico, e então ia acertando as dimensões das peças pouco a pouco.
As texturas foram mais fáceis e eu usei fotos de reais para isso. A aplicção delas é bem simples, direto no MsPaint, usando a técnica de desmarcar a opção de "desenhar opaco", o que permite colar camadas de desenhos e texturas, umas sobre as outras de uma forma bem simples, como em programas gráficos mais avançados (que eu até hoje não aprendi a usar).
Bem, hoje acabei de revisar os templates e incluí numerações nas peças que não tinham nos templates originais, nomeei algumas peças e coloquei algumas explicações básicas de montagem. Também adicionei templates para aqueles que quiserem colocar plástico transparente nas janelas para um melhor acabamento e conservação do modelo.
Outra coisa que fiz foi melhorar as imagens que estavam em baixa resolução, pois haviam sido salvas no formato .JPG que, para economizar espaço no HD (muito importante em 2011) acaba reduzindo o número de pixels das imagens, causando um efeito parecido com sujeira, a famosa baixa resolução.
