Shima-Enaga Bird And Komugi Dog Papercrafts - by MONOcraft

Here are two very cute papercrafts from Japan, created by MONOcraft. One is a tiny Japanese bird called Shima-enaga and the other is Komugi, the little dog from the Japanese animated series Wonderful Precure!

The first model is the Shima-enaga, a small bird found in Japan that is well known for its round body, white feathers and cute appearance. MONOcraft turned this little bird into a very nice papercraft with simple shapes and a slightly faceted look that works really well with paper.

The whole bird fits on just one sheet of paper. There are not many parts, but the finished model has a lot of personality and looks especially nice when displayed on a shelf, a desk or even among some small plants.

MONOcraft also made a video tutorial showing the complete assembly process. This is always useful, especially with small models like this, where the order in which the parts are glued can make things much easier.

The second model is Komugi, the little dog from Wonderful Precure!, a Japanese animated TV series produced by Toei Animation that started airing in Japan in February 2024. Komugi is a Papillon dog and one of the main characters of the story.

Komugi is a little more detailed than the bird. This papercraft takes two sheets and has separate parts for the big ears, legs, tail and the little pink bow. There are two versions of the first sheet, so you can build Komugi with her mouth open or closed. The second sheet is the same for both versions. The large eyes and happy expression give the finished model that very cute Japanese kawaii look.

There is also a complete video tutorial for Komugi, showing how the pieces come together. Since this model has more parts than the Shima-enaga, watching the video before starting the assembly is probably a good idea.

The Shima-enaga takes only one sheet and Komugi takes two, with two different facial expressions to choose from. Both models also have video tutorials to help with the assembly.

Aqui estão dois papercrafts muito simpáticos vindos do Japão, criados por MONOcraft. Um deles é um pequeno pássaro japonês chamado Shima-enaga e o outro é Komugi, a cachorrinha da série de animação japonesa Wonderful Precure!

O primeiro modelo é o Shima-enaga, um pequeno pássaro encontrado no Japão e conhecido pelo corpo arredondado, pelas penas brancas e pela aparência muito simpática. MONOcraft transformou essa pequena ave em um belo papercraft, usando formas simples e um visual levemente facetado que combina muito bem com papel.

O pássaro inteiro cabe em apenas uma folha de papel. Não são muitas peças, mas o modelo pronto tem bastante personalidade e deve ficar especialmente bonito em uma prateleira, sobre uma mesa ou até mesmo entre alguns pequenos vasos de plantas.

MONOcraft também preparou um tutorial em vídeo mostrando todo o processo de montagem. Isso sempre ajuda bastante, principalmente em modelos pequenos como este, onde a ordem em que as peças são coladas pode facilitar muito o trabalho.

O segundo modelo é Komugi, a pequena cachorrinha de Wonderful Precure!, uma série japonesa de animação para televisão produzida pela Toei Animation que começou a ser exibida no Japão em fevereiro de 2024. Komugi é uma cachorrinha da raça Papillon e uma das personagens principais da história.

Komugi é um pouco mais detalhada que o passarinho. Este papercraft ocupa duas folhas e tem peças separadas para as grandes orelhas, patas, cauda e o pequeno laço cor-de-rosa. Há duas versões da primeira folha, então você pode montar Komugi com a boca aberta ou fechada. A segunda folha é a mesma para as duas versões. Os olhos grandes e a expressão alegre dão ao modelo pronto aquele visual kawaii bem japonês.

Também há um tutorial completo em vídeo para Komugi, mostrando como as peças são montadas. Como este modelo tem mais partes que o Shima-enaga, assistir ao vídeo antes de começar a montagem provavelmente é uma boa ideia.

Não consegui encontrar um nome pessoal claramente ligado ao criador destes papercrafts, então acho que MONOcraft é o crédito mais seguro e correto. O Shima-enaga ocupa apenas uma folha e Komugi ocupa três, e os dois contam com tutoriais em vídeo para ajudar na montagem.

The Simpsons Hit & Run Rocket Car Papercraft - by Papermau Free Download This Saturday!

This is a small preview of the Rocket Car papercraft, inspired by the iconic secret vehicle from the video game The Simpsons: Hit & Run, a classic released in 2003 that mixes open-world exploration with fast-paced arcade driving through the streets of Springfield. 

In the game, you control characters like Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Marge Simpson and Apu Nahasapeemapetilon in missions that feel very similar to games like Grand Theft Auto, with races, chases and vehicle-based challenges.

Among the most unusual cars in the game is the Rocket Car, also known as the Speed Rocket, a hidden vehicle that is extremely fast but not so easy to control, and that became a fan favorite over the years.

The model you see in the photos is the result of a test build I made over the past few days. It takes up four printed sheets and, when assembled on A4 or Letter size paper, it measures approximately 30 cm x 12 cm x 11 cm, making it a nice display-sized model.

After completing this first build, I am now reviewing the templates and fixing a few small issues that only show up during the actual assembly process. This step makes a big difference and helps ensure the model will be easier and more enjoyable to build.

If everything goes as planned and there are no unexpected issues, this Saturday I will publish the templates here on the blog so everyone can build their own Rocket Car from The Simpsons.

Este é um pequeno preview do papercraft do Rocket Car, inspirado no icônico veículo secreto do videogame The Simpsons: Hit & Run, um clássico lançado em 2003 que mistura exploração em mundo aberto com muita direção arcade pelas ruas de Springfield. 

No jogo, controlamos personagens como Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge e Apu em missões que lembram bastante a estrutura de jogos como GTA, com corridas, perseguições e desafios baseados em veículos. 

Entre os carros mais curiosos está justamente o Rocket Car, conhecido como Speed Rocket, um veículo escondido extremamente rápido, mas difícil de controlar, que acabou se tornando um dos favoritos dos fãs .

O modelo que você vê nas fotos é o resultado da montagem de teste que fiz nos últimos dias. Ele ocupa quatro folhas impressas e, quando montado em papel no formato A4 ou Carta, atinge aproximadamente 30 cm de comprimento, 12 cm de largura e 11 cm de altura, ficando com um tamanho bem interessante para exposição.

Após essa primeira montagem, estou agora revisando os templates e corrigindo alguns pequenos erros que só aparecem mesmo quando colocamos a mão na massa e montamos o modelo de verdade. Esse processo faz toda a diferença no resultado final e garante que o papercraft fique mais fácil e agradável de montar.

Se tudo correr bem e não houver nenhum imprevisto, neste sábado publicarei os templates aqui no blog para que todos possam montar seu próprio Rocket Car dos Simpsons.
