Hand-Drawn Haunted Mansion Parlor Diorama Papercraft by Disney Imagineers

The Haunted Mansion Parlor is a papercraft model made available through the Disney Paper Parks: Happy Haunts Edition series, created by the talented Imagineers Stephanie Jazmines and Amy Young. 

This particular model was inspired by the themed lounge that debuted on the Disney Treasure, a Disney Cruise Line ship, in December 2024. 

The activity set includes printable sheets that allow fans to build a 3D replica of the Haunted Mansion Parlor. 

The details include the lounge façade, the main bar area, and elements such as armchairs and cabinets that compose the interior space. 

For the best results, it is recommended to print the sheets at their original scale, without resizing. Assembly requires the use of scissors, glue, and folding along the indicated dotted lines. Adult supervision is advised, especially for children. 

This papercraft offers Disney fans a fun and creative way to bring a piece of the Haunted Mansion magic into their homes, celebrating the attraction’s rich history and charming design. 

The papercraft models available on the Disney Parks Blog were hand-drawn by talented Imagineers from Walt Disney Imagineering. 

The term Imagineer combines the words "imagination" and "engineer", reflecting the blend of artistic creativity and technical expertise involved in designing Disney park attractions. 

Among the leading contributors to the Disney Paper Parks series are Stephanie Jazmines and Amy Young, who have worked on various editions. In the special edition inspired by The Haunted Mansion attraction, Imagineer Audrey Aronoff also contributed to the façade designs. 

Additionally, Jazmines and Young collaborated with Disney Live Entertainment costume designers to ensure the authenticity of the paper dolls of Mickey and Minnie, featured in another edition of the series. 

These models offer fans the opportunity to recreate iconic Disney attractions and characters at home, using only paper, scissors, and glue. 

The Haunted Mansion Parlor is a themed bar and lounge experience inspired by Disney’s iconic The Haunted Mansion attraction. 

Announced as part of the Disney Treasure cruise ship, the setting combines a haunted Victorian aesthetic with classic mansion elements, including ghosts, special effects, and themed cocktails. 

The bar features an original storyline about a mysterious ghostly captain who haunts the venue, expanding the world of the classic attraction. 

The drinks served in the lounge are inspired by iconic elements of the Haunted Mansion, with some featuring special effects, such as mist or color-changing properties. 

Additionally, the bar offers exclusive souvenirs, such as a goblet inspired by the mansion’s ghosts, a perfect collectible for Haunted Mansion fans.

Today’s set of printable activity sheets is complete with instructions on how to create 3D versions of paper ornaments inspired by iconic Disney Parks attractions and locations, holiday wrapping paper and more. 

Add to the fun by crafting one ornament per day for a total of 12 days of Disney Paper Parks! Included is an ornament holder with pockets labeled one through 12 so you can store each day’s materials and pull them out one day at a time to craft your next ornament. 

As a bonus, there are fully drawn themed sheets in this set that can be used as wrapping paper, too. Color the ornaments and wrapping paper to your liking and deck the halls of your home with Disney Paper Parks! 

For best results, we recommend printing the activity sheets at their actual size, not scaling them to fit the page. We also recommend adult participation or supervision for those with little ones to help make this great activity even more enjoyable.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Engine No. 4 Locomotive Papercraft by Robert Nava - via Disney Experience

Created in 2006 by the American designer and modeler Robert Nava from the Disney Experience website and consisting of 402 pieces divided across nine printed sheets, this papercraft of the Engine No. 4 Locomotive is based on one of the trains featured in Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, one of Disney's most iconic roller coasters, present in various parks around the world. 

The first version of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was inaugurated in 1979 at Disneyland Park in California. 

Inspired by Wild West landscapes, the attraction simulates a runaway ride through an abandoned mine. 

Other versions followed: in 1980, it was introduced at Magic Kingdom in Orlando; in 1987, Big Thunder Mountain arrived at Tokyo Disneyland in Japan; and in 1992, a more elaborate version opened at Disneyland Paris. 

The Engine No. 4 is one of several trains used in the attraction, designed to appear rustic and true to late 19th-century locomotives from the Gold Rush era. It stands out as one of the attraction’s key visual and functional highlights. 

The train is decorated with rusty and worn details to reflect the atmosphere of an abandoned mine. It remains faithful to the style of steam locomotives used in mountainous regions during the American Wild West. 

The wagons connected to the train are not for cargo but for visitors, with seats designed like mine carts, enhancing the adventurous theme. 

The concept behind the runaway train is that it is "cursed" or influenced by a mysterious phenomenon in the mine, making the journey unpredictable and exciting. 

The train moves quickly along tracks that simulate drops, sharp turns, and steep climbs, creating a sense of controlled danger. 

The Engine No. 4 is part of a fleet of four or five trains operating in the attraction. Although visually "antique," it uses modern traction and safety systems to ensure a secure experience.

St. Patrick's Day Tinker Bell Papercraft - by Paper Replika

This beautiful papercraft of Tinker Bell with a Leprechaun top hat was created by Indonesian designer and model maker Julius Perdana, from Paper Replika and was originally published in February 2012. 

Regarding this model, Mr. Perdana said at the time: - "The plan was to make a quick paper craft for St. Patrick’s day 2012. So I make an add-on or an accessory part for this pretty forest fairy “Tinker Bell”. 

She will wear Leprechaun theme green tall hat, waist belt and four-leaf clovers. The template only has a single sheet, you have to download the fairy separately. 

Actually I’m still confuse about the leaves, which one is the right one for representing St. Patrick’s Day? So I make both available on the templates. You have to remove her hair bun first so the hat will fit to her head." 

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17th in honor of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. He was a Christian missionary who allegedly converted many Irish people to Christianity during the 5th century. 

Although green is now the predominant color in St. Patrick's Day celebrations, the color originally associated with St. Patrick was blue. Green became popular as a symbol of Ireland during the 18th century, and the transition to green as the holiday color occurred gradually. 

The first St. Patrick's Day parade did not take place in Ireland, but rather in the United States. It happened on March 17th, 1762, in New York City, when Irish soldiers of the British army marched through the city in honor of their patron. 

While today St. Patrick's Day is more associated with festivities and celebrations, it began as a religious holiday in Ireland, where people attended masses and observed alcohol abstinence. 

Festive celebrations as we know them today, with parades, parties, and alcohol consumption, became more common in other countries, especially in the United States. 

The legend of the Leprechaun and the pot of gold are intrinsically linked to Irish folklore and, by extension, to St. Patrick's Day. 

 Leprechauns are small mythical beings from Irish mythology, often depicted as bearded gnomes dressed in green clothes and pointed hats. They are said to be skilled cobblers and guardians of a great treasure hidden at the end of the rainbow. 

The story goes that if someone captures a Leprechaun, it must reveal where its treasure is hidden. However, Leprechauns are cunning and known for their ability to escape from human hands. 

The connection between Leprechauns, the pot of gold, and St. Patrick's Day is more cultural than historical. During St. Patrick's Day celebrations, it is common to see images of Leprechauns and pots of gold, reflecting the rich heritage of Irish folklore.

It is believed that this association has strengthened over time, especially due to the popularity of representations of these elements in holiday-related festivities and decorations.

Star Wars - Darth Vader Accurate Helmet Paper Model In 1/1 Scale by Joey Juvito

In fact, I know nothing about Joey Juvito, unless he is a great designer and he created the most perfect paper version so far of Darth Vader`s helmet/mask. 

Joey kindly shared his work at The RPF forum and his friend Dan built the model with perfection, as you can see in the photos of this post. 

In 1/1 scale, this is great model for all fans of Star Wars and Cosplayers. 

To view and print this model you will need Pepakura Viewer Free Version.

When the file opens, you will be asked for a password. Just ignore it and click on the option "open with Pekaura Viewer" that appears right below the password space.

De fato, eu não sei nada sobre Joey Juvito, a não ser que ele é um grande designer e que ele criou a mais perfeita versão em papel até agora do capacete/máscara do Darth Vader.
