The Zealot Hobby Forum, more commonly known simply as Zealot, is one of the oldest and most respected forums in the international papercraft and scale modeling community.
Created in the early 2000s, there, you can find a wide variety of free models, many of them created by forum members themselves, including some exclusive ones not available anywhere else.
In addition, Zealot hosts technical discussions about assembly techniques, paper selection, tools, and finishing touches, always enriched by the valuable exchange of experiences that makes all the difference.
Recently, an important change occurred involving the forum. According to Rhaven Blaack, one of the most active community members, the original owner sold the domain name.
However, only the web address was sold; the forum itself remains intact, fully operational, and without any loss of content.
The new official Zealot URL (zealotmodels.com) is active, and the forum continues strong with its structure preserved.
Although I greatly appreciate Zealot and recognize its importance to the papercraft community, I haven’t been able to participate much lately due to lack of time. In fact, the same applies to all the forums I’m a member of. Life has been quite busy.
So, if you’re a former Zealot user or curious to explore this true living archive of the global papercraft scene, it’s definitely worth visiting the new site and perhaps joining the conversations and reconnecting with old hobby friends.
