Miniature Room With Eiffel Tower View Paper Craft - by PWOTD

This small paper diorama shows the view of the Eiffel Tower through the window of what looks like a hotel room or living room. 

The model was created by the South Korean designer known as PWOTD, from the website Paper World On The Desk, and is available for free on his blog.

Squid Game - Chibi Style Pink Soldier Papercraft - by Pluck Design

On the Playcraft blog there is a papercraft of the Pink Soldier from Squid Game, the one with the triangle mask. 

The model was created by Pluck Design, the author behind several other small and fun papercraft projects shared on the same site. 

The papercraft is offered in two formats: PNG and PDO (Pepakura). It takes up two printed sheets. You can print the PNG files to cut and build the model, and use the PDO file as a visual guide in Pepakura Designer. 

With the 3D view in Pepakura, the builder can rotate the model, check folds and connections, and see how each part fits together before gluing. 

The design keeps the main features of the Pink Soldier: the hooded jumpsuit, the simple weapon, and the triangular mask. The style is simplified and stylized, which makes the model easy to build while keeping it instantly recognizable. 

Squid Game is a South Korean series released on Netflix, where people with heavy debts compete in deadly versions of children’s games for a big cash prize. 

The pink soldiers are the masked guards who control the contestants and enforce the rules. The triangle mask indicates a middle rank, higher than the circle guards but lower than the square ones.

Halloween Special - The Ring - The Scary Well Paper Model by Masahiro Kushima

Created by Japanese designer and modeler Masahiro Kushima, from Paper Model Studio website, this papercraft of a "Scary Well" is perfect for displaying action figures in 1/30 to 1/25 scale. 

Although Mr. Kushima’s original post never explicitly mentions it, this model was clearly inspired by the classic Japanese horror film "The Ring" ("Ringu"), from 1988. 

Regarding this model, Mr. Kushima only says that "this is an old well that looks a little scary." 

"The Ring" ("Ringu") is a horror film based on the story of a cursed VHS tape. Anyone who watches the video dies seven days later. 

The plot follows journalist Rachel Keller, who, after watching the tape, tries to unravel the mystery and save her own life. 

The story centers around the character of Samara Morgan (or Sadako, in the Japanese version), the vengeful spirit responsible for the curse. 

There are several versions of the film, the most well-known being "Ringu" (Japan, 1988), "The Ring Virus" (South Korea, 1999), and "The Ring" (USA, 2002). 

The story of "Ringu" is inspired by the concept of the Onryō, a vengeful spirit in Japanese mythology. These ghosts, often women who suffered terrible injustices, return to the living world to haunt or seek revenge on their oppressors. 

Sadako, the central character of "Ringu," follows this Onryō tradition, with her long black hair and terrifying demeanor, characteristic of the Japanese horror genre.

Embora no post original do Sr. Kushima não seja dito em momento algum, este modelo foi claramente inspirado no clássico filme de terror japonês "O Chamado" ("The Ring"), de 1988. 

A respeito deste modelo, o Sr. Kushima diz apenas que "esse é um poço antigo que parece um pouco assustador".

"O Chamado" ("The Ring") é um filme de terror que se baseia na história de uma fita VHS amaldiçoada. Quem assiste ao vídeo morre sete dias depois de assisti-lo. 

A trama segue a jornalista Rachel Keller que, após assistir à fita, tenta desvendar o mistério e salvar a própria vida.
