The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Zant The Wizard Papercraft by Paper Duplicator

Here’s another beautiful creation by designer and model maker Emily Stell, also known as Duriavenator, from the website Paper Duplicator. This time, the spotlight goes to a detailed paper model of Zant, the masked villain from the game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. 

Even if you're not familiar with the game, the model's unique and menacing design makes it a fantastic addition to any papercraft collection. 

The template is available for free in two formats: PDF, ready to print, and PDO, which works with the Pepakura Viewer program. The PDO format is especially helpful, as it lets you see the 3D model and understand where each piece goes. 

To make things even easier, Emily also created a step-by-step video tutorial on YouTube, which really helps when assembling more complex parts. 

The model includes 42 pieces spread over 8 sheets, and when completed, it stands about 30 cm tall, 29 cm wide, and 12 cm deep. It’s a challenging yet rewarding build for paper model enthusiasts. 

For those unfamiliar with the character, Zant is one of the villains in Twilight Princess, and he has a striking appearance. He wears a mask at all times, which gives him a mysterious and imposing look. His dark, ceremonial outfit resembles that of a shadowy priest, perfectly matching his eerie presence. 

At the beginning of the game, Zant appears calm, composed, and even elegant. But as the story progresses, he reveals a completely different side—an unstable personality marked by exaggerated movements, creepy laughter, and sudden outbursts of madness that contrast sharply with his earlier demeanor. 

Although he seems to be the main antagonist at first, Zant is actually being manipulated by Ganondorf, the classic villain of the Zelda series. So in the end, he’s not the true mastermind, but rather a pawn in the plans of a far more powerful foe. 

And for those wanting to better understand the world Zant comes from, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is an action-adventure game released by Nintendo in 2006. In it, players control Link, a young hero chosen to save the kingdom of Hyrule from the invading forces of the Twilight Realm. 

Along the way, Link explores forests, villages, castles, and dungeons, shifting between his human form and a wolf. With its darker atmosphere and cinematic style, the game is considered one of the most epic entries in the Zelda franchise.

Para quem não conhece o personagem, Zant é um dos vilões de Twilight Princess e tem uma aparência bem marcante. Ele usa uma máscara o tempo todo, o que dá a ele um ar misterioso e imponente. Seu traje escuro e cerimonial lembra o de um sacerdote sombrio, o que combina perfeitamente com sua aura ameaçadora. 

No começo do jogo, Zant se mostra um vilão calmo, controlado e até mesmo elegante. Mas com o tempo, ele revela um lado totalmente diferente: uma personalidade instável, com comportamentos exagerados, risadas estranhas e surtos de loucura que contrastam com sua postura inicial. 

Apesar de parecer o grande inimigo da história, Zant na verdade está sendo manipulado por Ganondorf, o vilão clássico da série Zelda. Ou seja, ele não é o verdadeiro chefão, mas sim uma peça no jogo de outro personagem ainda mais poderoso.

About this project, he said: “This is a quick little project I did to try to get myself back into a building mood, since I basically haven't done any real models since last summer.

Little Nightmares Papercraft Collection - via Little Nightmares Fandom

Little Nightmares Papercraft was a series of paper models inspired by the characters from the first Little Nightmares game, released in 2017. 

These models were shared through the official social media channels of the franchise, as well as by Bandai Namco Entertainment, which also produced four short stories based on events from the original game. 

Among the available paper toys are the characters Six, Nome, the Janitor, Chef #1, Chef #2, and the mysterious Lady, all recreated with great style. 

Little Nightmares is a dark yet fascinating game developed by Tarsier Studios. Blending platforming, puzzles, and a heavy dose of suspense, the game puts players in control of Six, a little girl in a yellow raincoat trying to escape a grotesque place known as The Maw, a strange vessel inhabited by bizarre, deformed creatures. 

With visuals that evoke the deepest childhood nightmares, the game tells its story without dialogue , everything is conveyed through richly detailed environments, an unsettling soundtrack, and moments of real discomfort. 

An interesting fact is that the design of The Maw was inspired by childhood fears, such as the intimidation of adults and the feeling of powerlessness in the face of the unknown, which is why everything feels so disproportionate and claustrophobic. 

Another fun fact: the game was originally going to be called Hunger, which makes even more sense considering the disturbing themes of eating or being eaten.

And finally, it’s worth noting that Little Nightmares was developed using Unreal Engine 4 by a small team, making its visual and artistic quality all the more impressive.

E por fim, vale destacar que o game foi desenvolvido com a Unreal Engine 4 por uma equipe pequena, o que torna seu nível visual e artístico ainda mais impressionante.

This paper toy was loosely inspired by the AMC Gremlin, but I didn’t aim for accuracy in shape or details. Think of it as a playful tribute to this iconic and charming little car. 

The AMC Gremlin was a compact car produced by the American Motors Corporation between 1970 and 1978. It was created to compete with small, economical models like the Volkswagen Beetle and the Ford Pinto. 

Known for its unusual design, especially its abruptly cut-off rear end, the Gremlin stood out as one of the first American-made subcompact cars. 

Interestingly, the Gremlin was launched on April 1st, 1970, April Fool’s Day, which led many to believe the car was some kind of prank. 

It was built on a shortened AMC Hornet chassis, resulting in its peculiar appearance and earning it the nickname “the chopped car.” 

Despite its unconventional look, it hit the market before the Ford Pinto and the Chevy Vega, securing its place as the first modern American subcompact. 

In pop culture, the AMC Gremlin appears in Breaking Bad as the car driven by Gretchen Schwartz, Walter White’s former girlfriend and business partner. Although the car only makes a brief appearance, its quirky design stands out, reinforcing the show’s retro and offbeat aesthetic. 

The Gremlin also made memorable appearances in film. In Wayne’s World (1992), Garth drives a blue Gremlin with flames on the sides, featured in iconic scenes like the “Bohemian Rhapsody” sing-along. 

In The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009), the car becomes the butt of several jokes for its strange looks. And in Dazed and Confused (1993), a purple Gremlin helps set the 1970s mood. 

With its unique look and eccentric personality, the AMC Gremlin earned its place as a cult icon, perfect for evoking humor, nostalgia, and individuality.
