Today I present a new series here on the blog featuring papercrafts from an amazing collection called Sega History Papercraft.
This collection brings together paper miniatures of some of Sega’s most iconic arcade cabinets, faithfully recreating the legendary machines that defined an era.
To kick things off, the first model I’m sharing with you is the classic Space Harrier. This arcade is unforgettable for its futuristic design and, above all, its moving cockpit, which simulated in-game movements for a truly immersive experience.
The papercraft in this series brilliantly replicates that feature: the cockpit is also movable, just like the original.
The Sega History Papercraft collection was released in Japan as free inserts in the Dorimaga magazine around 2004 and 2005.
Each issue featured a different model, celebrating classics like OutRun, Hang-On, After Burner II, among others, all designed to be cut out and assembled by hand.
The files I found were originally split into three separate JPG sheets. To make assembly easier and prevent any scaling issues during printing, I decided to combine them into a single PDF file.

Hoje apresento uma nova série aqui no blog destacando papercrafts de uma coleção incrível chamada Sega History Papercraft.
Essa coleção reúne miniaturas em papel de alguns dos arcades mais icônicos da Sega, recriando com riqueza de detalhes as lendárias cabines que marcaram época.
Para começar, o primeiro modelo que trago para vocês é o do clássico Space Harrier. Esse arcade é inesquecível por seu visual futurista e, principalmente, pelo cockpit móvel que simulava os movimentos do jogo, proporcionando uma experiência totalmente imersiva.
O papercraft desta série reproduz esse detalhe de forma brilhante: a cabine também é móvel, exatamente como a original.
A coleção Sega History Papercraft foi lançada no Japão como brindes encartados na revista Dorimaga por volta dos anos 2004 e 2005.
Cada volume trazia um modelo diferente, homenageando clássicos como OutRun, Hang-On, After Burner II, entre outros, todos feitos para serem recortados e montados à mão.
Os arquivos que encontrei estavam originalmente divididos em três folhas no formato JPG. Para facilitar a montagem e evitar problemas de escala na impressão, decidi reuni-los em um único arquivo PDF.
