All these very original paper models of WWI`s Group Shelters were created by Lex Tempelman, a Dutch technical designer/illustrator. Lex says this type of concrete shelter was built during the mobilization in the Netherlands because of the First World War (1914-1918). Provided protection for 8 soldiers during an enemy artillery bombardment.
