Easy-To-Build Stand Diorama For Hot Wheels Miniatures In 1/64 Scaleby Paper Diorama Thailand

My friend Pong, from Paper Diorama Thailand community, kindly sent me via e-mail this beautiful and easy-to-build stand/diorama for Hot Whells, Matchbox and similar miniatures in 1/64 scale. As you can see on the photos of this post, with only one sheet of paper, no cuts and only one fold, the effect is very realistic.

The Ephemeral Museum - Lanchester Armored Car - by Fiddlers GreenAssembled by Papermau

This is the paper model version of the WWI`s Lanchester Armored Car, created by North American designer Scott Fyn, from Fiddlers Green website. Mr.Fyn passed away some years ago and his website is offline, but his work, ranging from aircraft, vehicles and architecture, remains appreciated and revered in papercraft forums around the world. I built this Lanchester Armored Car more them eight years ago. I used two layers of transparent PVA glue, which after drying gave the model a shiny appearance, and leave the paper harder as plastic.

Esta é a versão em papel do Carro Blindado Lanchester, da Primeira Guerra Mundial, criação do designer norte-americano Scott Fyn, do site Fiddlers Green. O Sr. Fyn faleceu há alguns anos e seu website está offline, mas seu trabalho, que vai de aeronaves, veículos e arquitetura, continua sendo apreciado e reverenciado em foruns de papercraft de todo o mundo. Eu passei duas demãos de cola de PVA, que depois de secas deram ao modelo um aspecto brilhante, além de deixar o papel ficar duro como plástico.

About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents. I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like. With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation. Today I am opening a new session here on the blog, the Ephemeral Museum , which is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years. I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

All who submit their work will be published, without exceptions.


Eu "estou no papelmodelismo" desde 2005, embora eu já tivesse contato com modelos de papel desde minha infância, nos anos 1970, via revistas que eram vendidas esporadicamente em bancas de jornal. Lembro que haviam revistas com casas para montar e dioramas/playsets de aeroportos, fortes-apache, presépios e coisas do tipo. Com o advento da internet o que houve foi simplesmente um renascimento do hobby do papelmodelismo para mim e muitas outras pessoas de minha geração. Hoje eu estou inaugurando uma nova sessão aqui no blog, o Ephemeral Museum, que é um lugar aonde irei mostrar alguns dos modelos que eu construí em todos estes anos. Também gostaria que esse fosse um espaço aonde todos os amigos modelistas pudessem mostrar seus trabalhos, sendo assim, se alguém quiser participar deste "museu", basta mandar fotos de seu trabalho e algumas palavras para o e-mail abaixo:

A House To Build - A British Vintage Paper Model - by Tuck DB

This vintage family house paper model was originally published in the early twentieth century by Tuck DB company. Raphael Tuck & Sons was the world's largest postcard publisher. 

The images used span the entire globe and offer a unique visual history of life in the late 19th and early 20th century. Unfortunately, during the London Blitz of the Second World War the company headquarters was destroyed including greeting cards, records and originals images.

Este modelo de papel antigo de uma casa da família foi publicado originalmente no início do século XX pela editora Tuck DB. Raphael Tuck & Sons foi a maior fabricante de cartões postais do mundo. 

As imagens usadas cobriam todo o mundo e ofereciam uma história visual única da vida no final do século XIX e início do século XX. Infelizmente, durante a Blitz de Londres da Segunda Guerra Mundial, a sede da empresa foi totalmente destruída, incluindo todos os cartões, registros e imagens originais.

Rosenberg Castle Paper Model - by Fix & Foxi - via Kaukapedia

This beautiful paper model of a Medieval Castle, the Rosenberg Castle, was originally published in 1983, by a German kids magazine called Fix & Foxi. Judging from the photo and the templates, I believe that this model is approximate in HO scale (1/87 scale).

The Ancient Temple Of Sacrifice Paper Model - Beta Version by Papermau - Download Now!

As part of the restructuring and cleaning of the blog, today I post here a model originally published in October, 2016. This is the "Beta version" of the Ancient Temple Of Sacrifice, this means that the model has not been tested and may have some errors. 

I assembled it in 3D and I have not encountered errors, but the number of pieces was made in a hurry, so if someone wants to build this model, should take this into consideration. 

If you liked the figures, they are from Wargames Foundry website and are metal miniatures for RPG and Wargames. You can download the photos there.

Como parte da reestruturação e limpeza do blog, hoje posto aqui um modelo originalmente publicado em Outubro de 2016. Esta é a "versão Beta" do Antigo Templo do Sacrifício, isso significa que o modelo ainda não foi testado e pode ter alguns erros. 

Eu o montei em 3D e eu não encontrei erros, mas a numeração das peças foi feita às pressas, então se alguém quiser construir este modelo, deve levar isso em consideração.
