Cadillac de Ville nomenclature always followed a tradition: Two doors with steel roofs were always Coupe de Ville, four doors were always Sedan de Ville until the elimination of two door models, and convertibles were Series 62s, as they were neither a coupe, nor a sedan by design. - Wikipedia

The Cadillac DeVille began its production life in 1949, when Cadillac introduced the Coupe de Ville. The original Coupe de Ville won Motor Trends first "Car of the Year" award. The 2005 model of the Deville comes in three different levels: Base, DHS and DTS. While the DHS and DTS were both DeVilles, they had distinct differences. After 2005, Cadillac dropped the DeVille name altogether, in favor of DTS.
ReplyDeleteHere are some things you can do yourself at home to prevent pricey van: Make sure your windscreen wash isn’t empty and refill if so. All you have do is buy the wash and mix it with water. Also make sure your oil level is ok. Simply remove the dipstick, clean it, reinsert it and check again. You should see a clean, dark oil on the dipstick. If the oil looks black, sludgy or has white froth then call a garage. If your oil level looks normal but is low simply poor in the oil and check again. Coolant is another thing you must check regularly. The coolant is in a translucent box in your engine. Look and see what the level is and if it’s low pop some coolant in.
