Old Country House Paper Model - Beta Version - by Papermau Download Now!

This is a beta version of a model based in an old miniature papercraft house posted here in 2011. This beta version continues with the same low resolution textures, but in a bigger size, better for RPG and Wargames. 

When possible, I will make another version, with good textures and with the parts arranged in a way that the assembly becomes easier. 

Below you will find links to the model in Pepakura format and Sketchup format. 

To view and print this model you will need Pepakura Viewer Free Version. When the file opens, you will be asked for a password. 

Just ignore it and click on the option "open with Pekaura Viewer" that appears right below the password space.

If you don`t have Pepakura Viewer Free Version yet, the link to download is at the end of this post.

Esta é uma versão beta de um modelo baseado em um antiga casinha em miniatura postada aqui em 2011. Esta versão beta continua com as mesmas texturas de baixa resolução, mas em um tamanho maior, melhor para RPG e Wargames.

Quando der, farei uma outra versão, com boas texturas e com as peças dispostas de maneira que a montagem se torne mais fácil. 

Abaixo você encontrará os links para o modelo no formato Pepakura e no formato Sketchup. 

Para visualizar e imprimir este modelo você precisará do Pepakura Viewer Versão Gratuíta. Quando o arquivo abrir, vai ser pedido uma senha. 

Apenas ignore e clique na opção "abra com o Pepakura Viewer" que aparece logo abaixo do espaço de senha.

GTA V - Grand Senora Desert Secret Garage Paper Model by Papermau - A Work In Progress

In the videogame GTA V, both in the story mode and in the online mode, this garage (or service station) is located in the Gran Senora Desert and is called the "Secret Garage" because, although you can enter with your car, you cannot can save or make any modifications to the vehicle. 

I think the only real function of this garage is that you, when using the "off the radar" function, can hide from air attacks or toxic players. 

With a classic look from the old American highways, this garage is perfect for a diorama and that's what I'm trying to do, transform the virtual model into a physical one, to be used as a stand for miniatures of Hot Wheels, Matchbox and the like. 

Today just some images of the garage extracted from the game, the few advances I made in MsPaint and Sketchup and a video created by The AttewelGaming showing the location of the building in the game. More soon.

No videogame GTA V, tanto no modo história quanto no modo online, esta garagem (ou posto de serviços) fica situada no Deserto de Gran Senora e é chamada de "Garagem Secreta" porque, apesar de você pode entrar com seu carro, você não pode salvar ou fazer qualquer modificação no veículo. 

Acho que a única função real dessa garagem é você, quando usando a função "fora do radar", poder se esconder de ataques aéreos ou de jogadores tóxicos. 

Com um visual clássico das antigas highways americanas, essa garagem é perfeita para um diorama e é isso que eu estou tentando fazer, transformar o modelo virtual em um físico, para se rusado como stand para miniaturas de Hot Wheels, Matchbox e similares. 

Hoje apenas algumas imagens da garagem extraídas do game, os poucos avanços que fiz no MsPaint e no Sketchup e um vídeo criado por The AttewelGaming mostrando a localização da edificação no game. Mais em breve.

The Ephemeral Museum Meets Halloween Special The Ghost House - by Ravensblight - Assembled by Papermau

This wonderful Ghost House paper model was created by North American designer Ray O'Bannon, from Ravensblight website. 

I assembled this model in 2008 and it still continues, after almost ten years, under the same conditions as when it was printed and assembled. 

Although many people think that because they are made of paper, the models of this material are disposable, if well cared for, protected from dust, splashes of water and especially sunlight, they can last for decades. 

Now it is part of my little particular museum and I want to say thanks to Mr. O'Bannon for the design of this beautiful model.

Esta belíssimo modelo de papel da Casa Fantasma foi criado pelo designer norte-americano Ray O'Bannon, do site Ravensblight.

Eu montei este modelo em 2008 e ele ainda continua, depois de quase dez anos, nas mesmas condições de quando foi impresso e montado.

Embora muitas pessoas pensem que por serem feitos de papel, os modelos deste material são descartáveis, se bem cuidados, protegidos de poeira, respingos de água e principalmente, luz solar, eles podem duram décadas. 

Agora esta casinha faz parte do meu pequeno museu particular e eu gostaria de agradecer ao Sr. O'Bannon por este modelo.

About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents. I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like. With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation. Today I am opening a new session here on the blog, the Ephemeral Museum , which is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years. I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

Eu "estou no papelmodelismo" desde 2005, embora eu já tivesse contato com modelos de papel desde minha infância, nos anos 1970, via revistas que eram vendidas esporadicamente em bancas de jornal. Lembro que haviam revistas com casas para montar e dioramas/playsets de aeroportos, fortes-apache, presépios e coisas do tipo. Com o advento da internet o que houve foi simplesmente um renascimento do hobby do papelmodelismo para mim e muitas outras pessoas de minha geração. Hoje eu estou inaugurando uma nova sessão aqui no blog, o Ephemeral Museum, que é um lugar aonde irei mostrar alguns dos modelos que eu construí em todos estes anos. Também gostaria que esse fosse um espaço aonde todos os amigos modelistas pudessem mostrar seus trabalhos, sendo assim, se alguém quiser participar deste "museu", basta mandar fotos de seu trabalho e algumas palavras para o e-mail abaixo:
