This is the second part of the Nativity Set Paper Model Collection. Since 2011 I've posted more than 65 paper models of Christmas Cribs/Christmas Nativity scenes. 

In this series of posts I will post them again, as a way to facilitate the search for those who appreciate this kind of Christmas decoration.

All these paper models are offered by the Papercraft Museum of Police nad Metují City. 

You will find everything from very simple models for children, to complex architectural models, which require patience and time. 

Police nad Metují is a Czech city located in the Hradec Králové region, Náchod district.

Todos estes modelos de papel são oferecidos pelo Museu de Papercraft da Cidade de Police nad Metují. 

Você vai encontrar desde modelos bem simples para crianças, até modelos arquiteturais complexos, que exigem paciência e tempo. 

Police nad Metují é uma cidade tcheca localizada na região de Hradec Králové, distrito de Náchod‎.

Christmas Time - The Manger - A Vintage Nativity Scene Paper Model by Whitman

This beautiful antique Christmas Nativity scene was originally printed in the USA in 1941 by Whitman Publishing, that is, eighty years ago. 

How such delicate things are preserved and survive to this day, I really don't know. Done at a time when there were no copiers or printers accessible to common people, presumably someone kept an original edition of the time and passed it along to other careful hands. 

By age, I believe that at least two generations were responsible for preserving this model. 

Well anyway, I've had this crib stored on my hard drive for a long time and I really don't remember where I got it. 

So I will keep the tradition and share it here on the blog. As all the sheets were separated, I took the liberty of reviewing the templates and putting everything in a single PDF document, so whoever dares to print it won't miss the scale.

Este belo e antigo presépio natalino foi originalmente impresso nos EUA em 1941, pela editora Whitman, ou seja, há oitenta anos atrás. 

Como coisas tão delicadas são preservadas e chegam até os dias de hoje, eu realmente não sei. Feito em uma época em que não haviam copiadoras ou impressoras acessíveis para pessoas comuns, é de se supor que alguém guardou uma edição original da época e foi passando-a adiante, para outras mãos cuidadosas. 

Pela idade, creio que pelo menos duas gerações foram responsáveis pela preservação deste modelo. 

Bem, de qualquer forma, eu tinha este presépio guardado em meu HD há muito tempo e realmente não me recordo aonde eu o peguei. 

Vou então, manter a tradição e compartilhá-lo aqui no blog. Como todas as folhas estavam separadas, eu tomei a liberdade de revisar os templates e colocar tudo em um único documento em PDF, assim quem se aventurar em imprimí-lo, não se enganará na escala.
