Monster Swede - A Monster Truck Paper Model - by Bilsport Junior

Bilsport Junior was a Swedish website specializing in motor sports. Around 2011 the site published a series of ten papercrafts of cars from various eras (third image of this post) that even included a Plymouth Barracuda and a John Deere tractor. 

Unfortunately the site is no longer active, but as I had this model saved on an old CD, I decided to publish it here on the blog. 

I've already found three more papercrafts from this series and I'll post them little by little. 

Today I leave you with this incredible Monster Truck that is relatively easy to assemble and takes up only two sheets of paper.

Bilsport Junior era um site sueco especializado em automobilismo esportivo. Por volta de 2011 o site publicou uma série de dez papercrafts de carros de várias épocas (imagem logo abaixo) que incluia até mesmo um Plymouth Barracuda e um trator Jonh Deere. 

Infelizmente o site não está mais ativo, mas como eu tinha este modelo salvo em um velho CD, resolvi publicá-lo aqui no blog. 

Eu já achei mais três papercrafts dessa série e vou postá-los aos poucos. 

Hoje deixo vocês com eese incrível Monster Truck que é relativamente fácil de montar e ocupa apenas duas folhas papel.

Don`t Starve - A Tent, An Ice Box And A Pig House Papercrafts by MuzluSut - via Klei Entertainment Forum

MuzluSut is a designer and gamer from Turkey, and he is the creator of these cool and easy-to-assemble papercrafts inspired by the survival video game Don't Starve, which can be downloaded from the official forum of Klei Entertainment, the game's developer.

MuzluSut has created a tent, an ice box, and a wooden structure resembling the "pig house" found in the game. He mentioned that he created these papercrafts to complement his Don't Starve character figurines, as can be seen in the last image of this post. 

"Don't Starve" is a survival game released in April 2013, developed by Klei Entertainment, an independent game company based in Canada. In the game, players take control of a character in a dark and surreal world where survival is key. 

They must manage hunger, sanity, and health while exploring an environment filled with strange creatures and challenges. Death is permanent, adding an element of difficulty and strategy. 

The game features a unique gothic-style aesthetic, challenging mechanics, and the constant need to gather resources and craft items to stay alive. Since its release, "Don't Starve" has received several expansions and remains a popular title in the independent gaming scene.

MuzluSut é um designer e jogador da Turquia e é o autor destes papercrafts bem legais e fáceis de montar inspirados no videogame de sobrevivência Don't Starve que podem ser baixados no forum oficial da Klei Entertainment, produtora do game. 

MuzluSut criou uma tenda, uma caixe de gelo e uma espécie de cabine de madeira que no jogo é chamada de "pig house". Ele disse que criou estes papercrafts para combinarem com suas figuras de personagens de Don`t Starve, como pode ser visto na última imagem deste post. 

"Don't Starve" é um jogo de sobrevivência lançado em abril de 2013, desenvolvido pela Klei Entertainment, uma empresa de jogos independente com sede no Canadá. No jogo, os jogadores assumem o controle de um personagem em um mundo sombrio e surreal, onde a sobrevivência é a chave. 

Eles devem gerenciar a fome, a sanidade e a saúde, enquanto exploram o ambiente cheio de criaturas estranhas e desafios. A morte é permanente, adicionando um elemento de dificuldade e estratégia. 

O jogo apresenta uma estética única em estilo gótico, mecânicas desafiadoras e a necessidade constante de coletar recursos e criar itens para se manterem vivos. Desde o seu lançamento, "Don't Starve" recebeu várias expansões e continua a ser um título popular na cena de jogos independentes.

Agra Fort In India Paper Model - by M.Kajiwara - via Canon

Occupying twenty printed pages and with super detailed instructions, here is a beautiful paper version of the Agra Fort created by the Japanese designer M. Kajiwara exclusively for the Canon website. 

Agra Fort, located in the city of Agra, India, is one of the country's most famous historical monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is known for its imposing architecture and historical significance. 

It was built by Emperor Akbar of the Mughal dynasty in the 16th century. It was used as a royal residence and also played a significant role as the administrative center of the empire. 

Agra Fort is strategically located on the banks of the Yamuna River and offers a stunning view of the iconic Taj Mahal, which is nearby. This location makes Agra Fort a popular spot to appreciate the breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal.

It features a blend of architectural styles, including Islamic and Hindu influences. Its highlights include the Jahangir Tower, the Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audiences), and the Diwan-i-Am (Hall of Public Audiences), all showcasing elaborate architectural details and magnificent craftsmanship. 

There is an interesting legend associated with Agra Fort concerning the construction of the Taj Mahal, one of the world's most famous monuments, located nearby. The legend suggests that Emperor Shah Jahan, who commissioned the construction of the Taj Mahal, had originally planned to build a second Taj Mahal in black marble on the other side of the Yamuna River as a memorial to himself. 

This supposed "Black Taj Mahal" would have been identical to the white Taj Mahal but made of black marble. However, the legend states that before Shah Jahan could carry out this plan, his son Aurangzeb deposed him and imprisoned him in Agra Fort.

It is said that Shah Jahan spent his final years in Agra Fort, gazing through the fort's windows at the Taj Mahal, where his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal was interred. He would have died in the fort, never realizing his plan to build the "Black Taj Mahal." 

This story is more of a legend than a historically proven fact. Nevertheless, it adds a layer of romance and tragedy to the history of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Kerguelen is a friend designer and modeler from the Netherlands. He kindly sent me some paper models he created some years ago and asked me to share at the blog.

I have to say I feel very honored to share these models here on the blog. 

Kerguelen said: - "There is only 1 sheet. The model sheet is smaller than A4, so it is better to print it at 140% scale with the margins set at 0 (zero). 

I have only one picture of the model, but that should be enough for most modellers. I developed this model long ago (fifteen years) and the model itself is lost. So no additional pictures."

Doctor Who - Kroton - The Hostile Alien Paper Toy - by Mike Daws

Created by British designer and model maker Mike Daws and originally published in the DeviantArt community, here is a very easy-to-assemble paper toy version of a Kroton alien from the Doctor Who universe. 

In Doctor Who, the Krotons are a mechanical and hostile alien species. They appeared in the story arc titled "The Krotons" in the classic Doctor Who series. 

The Krotons were a species that used advanced technology, but their society was in decline. They fed on the intelligence of humans, capturing talented young individuals to extract their knowledge. 

The Doctor, along with their companions, confronted the Krotons and helped humans free themselves from their oppression. 

The Krotons were known for their robot-like appearance with a single dome-shaped "eye" and were a notable threat in one of the Doctor's many adventures through time and space.

Criado pelo designer e modelista britânico Mike Daws e originalmente publicado na comunidade DeviantArt, eis aqui uma versão paper toy bem fácil de montar de um alien Kroton, do universo de Doctor Who. 

Em Doctor Who, os Krontons são uma espécie alienígena mecânica e hostil. Eles apareceram no arco de história intitulado "The Krotons", na série clássica de Doctor Who. 

Os Krontons eram uma espécie que usava tecnologia avançada, mas sua sociedade estava em declínio. Eles se alimentavam da inteligência de seres humanos, capturando jovens talentosos para extrair seu conhecimento. 

O Doutor, juntamente com seus companheiros, enfrentou os Krontons e ajudou os humanos a se libertarem de sua opressão. 

Os Krontons eram conhecidos por sua aparência semelhante a robôs com uma única "olho" em forma de cúpula e eram uma ameaça notável em uma das muitas aventuras do Doutor através do tempo e do espaço.

Marble Hill - Georgian Country Home Paper Model - by British Heritage
