Canon Creative Park`s Western Popularity Ranking - Top 15
November 2023

This is a collection of the fifteen most downloaded paper models from Canon's official website during the month of November 2023 by users in the western part of the globe. 

Between September and October we had a prevalence of Halloween-themed paper models and now as you can see, as December progresses, most models have a Christmas theme. 

There is also an exclusive collection with the fifteen most downloaded models in Japan (which can only be seen when you access Canon website with the Japanese language) and I will soon post it here on the blog as well.

Esta é uma coletânea com os quinze modelos de papel mais baixados no site oficial da Canon durante o mês de Novembro de 2023 pelos usuários da parte ocidental do globo. 

Entre Setembro e Outubro tivemos uma prevalência de modelos com temática de Dia das Bruxas e agora, como vocês podem perceber com o trancorrer de Dezembro, a maioria dos modelos rementem a temas natalinos. 

Há também uma coletânea exclusiva com os quinze modelos mais baixados no Japão (que só pode ser vista quando você acessa o site da Canon com o idioma em japonês) e em breve postarei aqui no blog também.

Christmas Time - Easy-To-Build Santa Claus With Sleigh Papercraft

Japanese designer and model maker Siryu created this beautiful papercraft of Santa Claus with his sleigh and kindly made the templates available on his profile on X (formerly Twitter). 

Siryu achieved the feat of creating a very beautiful, detailed and yet easy to assemble model. 

The whole set is made up of three sheets: one for Santa, one for the sleigh and one for the reindeer. 

In the photos in this post, all by Siryu, you can see that he assembled the sleigh with one and two reindeer, but nothing stops you from printing more reindeer and assembling your sleigh with four or even six reindeer. 

You can even paint the reindeer's noses black and leave just one with a red nose to represent Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. 

The good thing about papercraft is that you don't have to stay true to the original design and you can always personalize things and create something unique.

O designer e modelista japonês Siryu criou este belo papercraft de um Papai Noel com seu trenó e gentilmente disponibilizou os templates em seu perfil no X (antigo Twitter). 

Siryu conseguiu a proeza de criar um modelo muito bonito, detalhado e mesmo assim fácil de montar. 

O conjunto todo é composto de três folhas: uma para o Papai Noel, uma para o trenó e uma para a rena. 

Nas fotos deste post, todas de autoria de Siryu, você pode ver que ele montou o trenó com uma e duas renas, mas nada impede que você imprima mais renas e monte seu trenó com quatro ou até mesmo seis renas. 

Você ainda pode pintar os narizes das renas de preto e deixar apenas uma com o nariz vermelho para representar Rudolph, a Rena do Nariz Vermelho. 

O bom do papercraft é que você não precisa se manter fiel ao projeto original e sempre pode personalizar as coisas e criar algo único.

Christmas Time - Animated Christmas Baubles Paper Toy - Reindeer

Created by designer Rob Ives exclusively for Brother website, this very original Christmas ornament occupies only three printed sheets and there are seven more instruction sheets full of photos that will leave no doubt about the assembly for those who are interested. 

The Reindeer`s arms act like a pendulum and the counterweight is easily made with one or two coins.

Criado pelo designer Rob Ives exclusivamente para o site da Brother, este ornamento natalino bem original ocupa apenas três folhas impressas e há mais sete folhas de intruções cheias de fotos que não deixarão dúvidas sobre a montagem para aqueles quse se interessarem. 

Os braços da Rena funcionam como um pêndulo e o contrapeso é feito facilmente com uma ou duas moedas.

Christmas Time - A Foldable Christmas Tree Papercraft For Kids

Very young children will spend a good couple of hours cutting out and decorating this cute, ornament-filled, foldable Christmas tree, created by Japanese designer Satoshi Mori and originally published on Gihio, a website aimed at engineers and designers, with articles for people who use IT, including in business environments. 

To assemble just the tree, you will need to print a sheet with the ornaments and four more times the sheet with the "body" of the tree. 

For the optional "packaging" to store the tree, you will need to print two more sheets with the front and back of the packaging.

As crianças bem pequenas irão gastar um bom par de horas recortando e decorando essa simpática árvore de natal dobrável e cheia de ornamentos, criada pelo designer japonês Satoshi Mori e originalmente publicado no Gihio, um website direcionado para engenheiros e designers, com artigos para pessoas que usam TI, inclusive em ambientes empresariais. 

Para montar somente a árvore, você precisará imprimir uma folha com os ornamentos e mais quatro vezes a folha com o "corpo" da árvore.

Para a "embalagem" opcional para guardar a árvore você precisará imprimir mais duas folhas com a frente e o verso da embalagem.
