Georgskirche In Ulm Paper Model - by Ausschneide Bogen

A Georgskirche (Igreja de São Georg) foi construída entre 1902 e 1904 pelo arquiteto Max Meckel como uma igreja da guarnição em Olgastraße e hoje é a igreja da paróquia católica de St. Georg. É um dos poucos edifícios da igreja neogótica quase inalterado. A nave central da basílica de três corredores é incomumente larga, enquanto os corredores laterais são muito estreitos. Tijolos feitos à mão com argamassa branca foram usados como material de construção. As cúpulas da torre são cobertas com cobre, o que nos dà a cor verde claro. A torre alcança 86 metros. Os três sinos são: o sino de Cristo (1650 kg), o sino de Marien (1150 kg) e o sino de Georg (750 kg). O interior da igreja é pintado em estilo neogótico e nunca foi alterado, sendo apenas restaurado.

The Georgskirche (St. Georg Church) was built between 1902 and 1904 by the architect Max Meckel as a garrison church on Olgastraße and is today the parish church of the Catholic parish of St. Georg. It is one of the few almost unchanged neo-Gothic church buildings. The central nave of the three-aisled basilica is unusually wide, while the side aisles are very narrow. Hand-made bricks with white joints were used as building material. The tower helmets are covered with copper, which leads to the light green color. The tower is in full width in front of the central nave and has a height of 86m. The following three bells hang in it, the Christ bell (1650kg), the Marien bell (1150kg) and the Georg bell (750kg). The inside of the church is painted in a neo-Gothic style and was never changed, only restored.
