The designer Kazuhiro Sunamura is a kind of Japanese Gyro Gearloose. He builds radios, transmitters and know a lot about electronics. He also created a detailed theory about boomerangs and how to build them. But what interests us are the WW2 airplanes that he draws entirely by hand.
