All Japan Rally Championship
More than 200 rally competitions are held yearly in Japan. The All Japan Rally Championship is the top series, and regional championships, dividing the country into 6 zones, are held as sub-series. Each championship is now separated into a two-wheel drive and a four-wheel drive vehicle category from 1998, each allowing the participation of designated vehicles only.
