Jiangshi - The Chinese Vampire Paper Toy - by Kamibot

This nice paper toy of a Jiangshi is offered by Kamibox, a South Korean swebsite. A jiangshi, also known as a Chinese vampire, is a type of reanimated corpse in Chinese legends and folklore. It is typically depicted as a stiff corpse dressed in official garments from the Qing Dynasty, and it moves around by hopping, with its arms outstretched. It kills living creatures to absorb their qi, or "life force", usually at night, while in the day, it rests in a coffin or hides in dark places such as caves. Jiangshi legends have inspired a genre of jiangshi films and literature in Hong Kong and East Asia.

Um jiangshi, também conhecido como vampiro chinês, é um tipo de cadáver reanimado de lendas e do folclore chinês. É tipicamente descrito como um cadáver rígido vestido com trajes oficiais da Dinastia Qing, e que se move aos pulos, com os braços estendidos. Ele mata criaturas vivas para absorver seu qi, ou "força vital", geralmente à noite, enquanto de dia, ele descansa em um caixão ou se esconde em lugares escuros, como cavernas. Created by Japanese designer Bocchino Kamino Asobiba, here is a cute paper toy version of Princess Kaguya, or Kaguya Hime. The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter (Taketori Monogatari) is a 10th-century Japanese monogatari (fictional prose narrative) containing Japanese folklore. It is considered the oldest extant Japanese prose narrative although the oldest manuscript dates to 1592.
The tale is also known as The Tale of Princess Kaguya (Kaguya-hime no Monogatari), after its protagonist. Na série de videogames Portal, Cave Johnson é o fundador da Aperture Science, que evoluiu de seu precursor, Aperture Fixtures e mais tarde Aperture Science Innovators. Ele é o chefão de tudo e totalmente maluco. Ele diz: - “Quando a vida lhe der limões, não faça limonada. Faça a vida levar os limões de volta! Fique louco! 1972`s Tyrrell 006 Formula 1 Racing Car Paper Model - by Neozoh

Created by Japanese designer Neozoh, this is the paper model version in 1/24 scale of the Tyrrell 006, a Formula One car designed and built by the Tyrrell Racing Organisation. It was introduced towards the end of 1972. 

In the hands of Jackie Stewart it won the Drivers' Championship for the 1973 Formula One season, Stewart's third and final title. The car was first raced at the 1972 Canadian Grand Prix with Stewart's teammate and protégé François Cevert at the wheel.

Criada pelo designer japonês Neozoh, esta é a versão em papel na escala 1/24 do Tyrrell 006, um carro de Fórmula Um projetado e construído pela Tyrrell Racing Organization. Foi introduzido no final de 1972. 

Nas mãos de Jackie Stewart ganhou o campeonato de pilotos para a temporada de 1973 de Fórmula 1, o terceiro e último título de Stewart. Sua estréia oficial foi no Grande Prêmio do Canadá de 1972, com o companheiro de equipe de Stewart e protegido François Cevert no volante.

About Toys In The Attic by Papermau:

Toys in the Attic is the third album by American rock band Aerosmith, released in April 1975. Is also a name of a 1963`s drama movie with Dean Martin and Geraldine Page. Now, because this is a really nice name, this will be the name of a new session of Papermau`s blog. In this session I will share old original and exclusive paper models posted more than a year here in the blog. It's a way of not letting these models get lost among over 7.000 posts in the four years of the blog.


Toys in the Attic (Brinquedos no Sotão) é o nome do terceiro album da banda norte-americana de rock Aerosmith, lançado em 1975. É também o nome de um drama para o cinema de 1963 chamado aqui no Brasil de Na Voragem das Paixões, que contava no elenco com Dean Martin (o parceiro do Rat Pack e de Jerry Lewis) e Geraldine Page. Agora, porque eu acho esse um título muito legal, Toys in the Attic será o nome de uma nova sessão do blog Papermau. Nesta sessão eu publicarei antigos modelos de papel originais e exclusivos postados há um ano ou mais. Esta é a maneira que encontrei para que estes modelos não fiquem perdidos e esquecidos entre mais de 7.000 postagens feitas em quatro anos de existência do blog.

1993`s Cultus Pikes Peak Paper Model - by Irawan Cahya P. Parma

This is the 1993`s Cultus Pikes Peak, from the videogame Gran Turismo 2, in a very well done paper model version in 1/18 scale created by Indonesian designer Irawan Cahya P. Parma, from Grace Papercraft website. 

You will find the model in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the model with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D. 

When the file opens, you will be asked for a password. Just ignore it and click on the option "open with Pekaura Viewer" that appears right below the password space.
