Native American Dreamcatcher Decorative Paper Modelby Ravensblight

In some Native American cultures, a dreamcatcher is a handmade object based on a willow hoop, on which is woven a loose net or web. The dreamcatcher is then decorated with sacred items such as feathers and beads. The natives believe that this object has the power to capture the nightmares before they can penetrate our dreams. Whether you believe it or not, this papercraft created by North American designer Ray O`Bannon, from Ravensblight website, it remains a beautiful decorative model.

Em algumas culturas nativas norte-americanas, um apanhador de sonhos é um objeto feito à mão baseado em um aro de gravetos, em que é tecida uma rede frouxa ou teia. O apanhador de sonhos é decorado então com objetos sagrados, tais como penas e contas. Os indígemas acreditam que este objeto tem o poder de capturar os pesadelos antes que eles possam penetrar em nossos sonhos.
