Ulm-Wiblingen Water Plant Paper Model Diorama In 1/250 Scale by Ausschneide Bogen

The Ulm-Wiblingen water plant shown in the model consists of the plant, two outbuildings and a residential building with garages. 

The Danube plant was built in 1907 as a power plant and pumping station for water supply and was renovated in 1969. 

An approximately 1 km canal supplies the plant, driving the turbines at a drop height of approximately 3.3m and 58m³ per second and producing approximately 1.25 MW of power. 

The Donaueschingen - Passau Danube cycle path crosses the bridge of this hydroelectric power plant through an idyllic landscape along the Danube Canal from the Grone nature reserve on the edge of the Donautal industrial area to Ulm. 

Perfect for Dioramas, RPGs and Wargames, this model is offered by Ausschneide Bogen website and is in 1/250 scale. 

You will need to print 21 sheets of paper to assemble it and when finished this model will measure 35 cm x 37.5 cm x 13 cm.

A usina de água Ulm-Wiblingen mostrada no modelo é composta pela usina, dois anexos e um edifício residencial com garagens. 

A usina do Danúbio foi construída em 1907 como usina e estação de bombeamento para abastecimento de água e foi reformada em 1969. 

Um canal de aproximadamente 1km abastece a usina, acionando as turbinas a uma altura de queda de aproximadamente 3,3m e 58m³ por segundo e produz aproximadamente 1,25 MW de potência.

The Ulm Tower, also known as the Metzger Tower, is an observation tower located in the city of Ulm, Germany. At 126 meters tall, it is the tallest tower made entirely of bricks in the world. 

It was built in 1890 as a water tower, but is now a popular tourist attraction, offering panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. 

Visitors can climb to the top of the tower via an elevator or a staircase with 768 steps. 

There is a restaurant located at the base of the tower where visitors can enjoy a meal or drink before or after their visit to the tower.

German Town Hall In Lindau Paper Model - by Ausschneide BogenLink Revised

This beautiful and very detailed paper model of the Town Hall In Lindau, Germany, is offered by Ausschneide Bogen website. 

A great model in N scale (1/160 scale) that is perfect for Dioramas, RPG and Wargames. This model occupies "only" 19 sheets of paper and measures 35,5 cm x 25 cm x 22 cm when printed in A4 format. 

The former town hall at Bismarckplatz, on the island of Lindau, was built in Gothic style between 1422 and 1436. In 1496, it hosted an important Imperial Diet convened by Maximilian I in the local council chamber. Currently, the meetings of the Lindau city council still take place in this historic location.

In 1576, during a renovation, the house's facade received a Renaissance addition with a stepped gable. In 1930, the facade was redesigned by the artist Wilhelm Nida-Rümelin, featuring motifs such as lime trees, farmers, fishermen, and even a sea monster. 

However, the depiction of the Dance of Death, with the struggle between heaven and earth portrayed by a skeleton and a nude woman, caused scandal. The Bavarian People's Party demanded the immediate removal of this erotic scene. 

Next to it is the new town hall, built between 1706 and 1717. Since 1806, it has served as the municipal chamber, with the mayor's apartment located on the 2nd floor. 

Since 2015, the new town hall has been exclusively a residential and commercial building. It is worth noting that the location features a carillon that plays every day at fifteen minutes to twelve.

Um ótimo modelo na escala N (escala 1/160), perfeito para Dioramas, RPG e Wargames. Este diorama ocupa "apenas" 19 folhas de papel e mede 35,5 cms x 25 cms x 22 cms quando impresso no formato A4.

A antiga prefeitura em Bismarckplatz, na ilha de Lindau, foi construída em estilo gótico entre 1422 e 1436. Em 1496, sediou uma importante Dieta Imperial convocada por Maximiliano I na câmara do conselho local. Atualmente, as reuniões do conselho da cidade de Lindau ainda ocorrem nesse local histórico.

Em 1576, durante uma reforma, a fachada da casa recebeu um acréscimo renascentista, com uma empena escalonada. Em 1930, a fachada foi redesenhada pelo artista Wilhelm Nida-Rümelin, apresentando motivos como tílias, agricultores, pescadores e até mesmo um monstro marinho.

No entanto, a representação da dança da morte, com a luta entre o céu e a terra retratada por um esqueleto e uma mulher nua, causou escândalo.

O Partido do Povo da Baviera exigiu a remoção imediata dessa cena erótica. Ao lado, encontra-se a nova prefeitura, construída entre 1706 e 1717. A partir de 1806, passou a ser a câmara municipal, com o apartamento do prefeito localizado no 2º andar.

Schönberg Observation Tower Paper Model - by Ausschneide Bogen

This paper model of the Schönberg Observation Tower is offered by the German website Ausschneide Bogen. 

The model can be downloaded in two different scales: 1/87 (H0 scale), which occupies six printed sheets, and 1/160 (N scale), two sheets, with internal cardboard reinforcement being recommended for the 1/87 scale model. 

Around 1894, while hiking on the Schönberg plateau, hiking friends Louis Laiblin, Eugen Nägele and Joseph Krauß came up with the idea of building an observation tower there. 

The paper manufacturer Laiblin made the construction possible with a generous donation and so the "Pfullinger Unterhose" was built between 1905 and 1906 according to plans by the architect Professor Theodor Fischer for 17,000 marks (equivalent to around 200,000 euros today) as first observation tower to be built in reinforced concrete in Germany. 

In 1926, the wooden shingles were replaced by a copper roof. In the spring of 1945, the French army damaged the roof of the upper tower with an air raid. Repairs took place in 1949 and renovation work took place in 1965 and 1982. 

The approximately 28 meter high tower can be reached via 108 steps and is constantly open. My thanks to my friend Jo Kizinger, from the USA, for this nice find.

O modelo pode ser baixado em duas escalas diferentes: 1/87 (escala H0), que ocupa seis folhas impressas e 1/160 (escala N), duas folhas, sendo recomendado um reforço interno de papelão no modelo em escala 1/87. 

Por volta de 1894, enquanto caminhavam no planalto de Schönberg, os amigos caminhantes Louis Laiblin, Eugen Nägele e Joseph Krauß tiveram a ideia de construir ali uma torre de observação. 

O fabricante de papel Laiblin tornou a construção possível com uma generosa doação e assim o "Pfullinger Unterhose" foi construído entre 1905 e 1906, de acordo com os planos do arquitecto Professor Theodor Fischer por 17.000 marcos (equivalentes a cerca de 200.000 euros hoje) como primeira torre de observação a ser construída em concreto armado da Alemanha.
