About Gurgel Motors - Gurgel Motores S.A. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles, developed by the engineer Augusto João Conrado do Amaral Gurgel. The Honda S2000 is a roadster that was manufactured by the Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company. It was launched in April 1999 and was created to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary. The car was first shown as a concept at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995, following which it was launched in world markets in 1999. The S2000 is named for its engine displacement of 2 L, carrying on in the tradition of the S500, S600, and S800 roadsters of the 1960s. Several revisions were made throughout the car's lifetime, including changes to the engine, gearbox, suspension and interior and exterior. Officially two variants exist: the initial launch model was given the chassis code AP1, while the AP2 designation was given to vehicles produced from mid-2003 onwards. Though cosmetically similar, the AP2 incorporated significant changes to the drivetrain and suspension. Production of the S2000 ceased in June 2009.

Route 66 Abandoned Gas Station - First Building

Here is the first building of Route 66 Abandoned Gas Station diorama. It seems that all the parts go to incase with perfection, without necessity of many adjustments. I am using the new version of Pepakura Design 3, the High Resolution Version, and it saves a lot of time correcting little bugs.

Boat Cerberus Paper Model - by Paper Shipwright - Barco Cerberus

The Real Thing

The Cerberus was ordered in 1868 by the Colony of Victoria in pre-Federation Australia to provide protection for Port Phillip. Cerberus was the first major warship to rely on steam propulsion alone. She was a breastwork monitor, her turrets being raised on an armoured breastwork to improve her sea-keeping.
Cerberus arrived in Port Phillip in 1871 and never left. Sold for scrap in 1925, she was sunk as a breakwater in the bay in 1926. Various efforts have been made to raise and preserve her, but time is now running out fast. More information on the current state of the ship can be found at : http://www.cerberus.com.au.
