Pennsylvania Railroad`s GG1-Type Electric Locomotive Paper Model

Composed of 562 pieces and occupying 23 sheets of paper, this is a super detailed paper model of the GG1-Type Electric Locomotive, created by the Japanese designer M.Kajiwara, for Canon website. The PRR GG1 was a class of electric locomotives built for the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR), in the northeastern United States. Between 1934 and 1943 General Electric and the PRR's Altoona Works built 139 GG1s. The GG1 entered service with the PRR in 1935 and later ran on successor railroads Penn Central, Conrail and Amtrak. The last GG1 was retired by New Jersey Transit in 1983. Most have been scrapped, but sixteen are in museums.


Composto de 562 peças e ocupando 23 folhas de papel, este é um modelo de papel super detalhado da Locomotiva Elétrica GG1-Type, criado pelo designer japonês M.Kajiwara, para o site da Canon. A PRR GG1 era uma classe de locomotivas elétricas construídas para a Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR), no nordeste dos Estados Unidos. Entre 1934 e 1943, a General Electric e a Altoona Works da PRR construíram 139 GG1s. O GG1 entrou em serviço com o PRR em 1935 e depois trabalhou nas ferrovias sucessoras Penn Central, Conrail e Amtrak. A última GG1 foi aposentada pela New Jersey Transit em 1983. A maioria virou sucata, mas dezesseis estão à salvo em museus.
